Glam Girly desk

Wow! It has been forever! I had a busy summer filled with Family, Friends, and the SUN!!! I barely had any time to get my craft on... But I did manage to get a few projects in... I will post all about them later! Here is my favorite for now....

I forgot to take a picture before I got started oops!

I don't know if you can tell but it is a Little girls desk that is a light wood with some beautiful flowers painted on.... Yucky! I loved the shape and knew she had potential.... all she needed was a little Femi-fy-ing... Luckily that is my specialty!

I love how she turned out! This picture doesn't do her justice and I don't know if you can tell the base is silver and it has pink crystal knobs. I would have kept it if my husband would have let me put it in our bedroom. ;) What can I say? I LOVE all things girly and frilly!

I love unexpected details :) I mod podged some sweet wallpaper I found at DI (it was from like the 70's I swear!) inside the drawer!

Update:

Unfortunately I didn't make the top 12 for crafting with the stars (I didnt expect to.. But, it would have been fun!). But, my desk was one of the Five honorable mentions! Yay!
